I was hired to install a new Amana condenser with a new evaporator coil. The condenser was installed on the side yard, and the evaporator coil was installed in the attic. The installation process included removing the old condenser and evaporator coil, installing the new condenser, and installing the new evaporator coil. The installation process took several hours, and the new system was tested to ensure it was working properly.
I was called to a home to repair an AC unit that was not cooling. Upon arrival, I found that the secondary pan was full of water and the drain was blowing out. I removed the access panel and found that the drain line was clogged with algae and debris. I cleaned the drain line and replaced the access panel. The AC unit is now cooling properly.
